A state board will be in Alpine today: The Wyoming Charter Authorizing Board will be in Alpine to review an application for a Charter School in that community. Reviews will be conducted in the afternoon of Wednesday, Sept. 18, followed by a public meeting from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Alpine Civic Center. A page one report in today’s Star Valley Independent.
The Town of Alpine will lease land: In a formal letter released last night by the Alpine Town Council, the governing body agreed to offer a low cost, long term lease for the location of a charter school. See the accompanying letter.
